Born and raised in Kingsteignton, Dave Bone has been tattooing since 2002 and has built his reputation the old-fashioned way — through good work, loyal clients and recommendations.
For those who have been around Newton Abbot long enough, Dave started out at the old Mystic World shop in town. From there, years of experience and a growing client base eventually led to him establishing his own studio in Newton Abbot, now based at 72 Queen Street.
Over the years, clients have become friends and friends have become clients. Dave is well known locally, with recommendations and reviews across Facebook, Google and plenty more through word of mouth. Many clients have been coming back to him for years.
Dave specialises in black & grey tattooing, bringing experience, attention to detail and a huge amount of care to every piece. Just as importantly, he understands that getting tattooed can be a big deal. Whether it's your first tattoo or you're running out of available skin, he'll make sure you feel comfortable, relaxed and involved throughout the process.
For Dave, it's never been about getting people in and out of the chair. It's about creating something you're genuinely happy to wear.
